On Dec 28, 2019 Nicole left Canada and went to Mexico to die. After 10 years of failed kidneys, 41 years of type-1 diabetes and many other complications, my wife had decided to stop eating and discontinue dialysis treatments. The doctors said she’d last anywhere from 4 days to 14 days. By day 21 she was still alive.
